The social, emotional well being of a child directly impacts on a child's ability to learn.

(Quote from the DfE report : Mental health and behaviour in schools November 2018)
'Blueskies' has several years of experience working in schools and is able to offer an extremely comprehensive SEMH (social, emotional, mental heath) service to support both staff, families and individual pupils.

We are currently offering schools training in trauma informed practice. The bespoke training can be offered to all staff, key workers and Governors. The training gives schools a deeper understanding of Adverse Childhood Experiences (A.C.E.'s) and how to respond accordingly in everyday interactions as well as more focused interventions. The training includes a toolkit of practical ideas, evaluative tools and the opportunity to purchase a range of resources .

Schools are able to buy in any of the services / expertise offered below or indeed 'pick and mix' from the menu as the examples show. The standard charge is £200.00 per day (approx the cost of a supply teacher) and can be paid for through your 'pupil premium' budget. To add a twilight training session for staff onto the end of a day would add only £100.00 to the daily rate.
